Lauder Director, Public Affairs Office SUBJECT: Address at the DIA 25th Anniversary Celebration 1. Action Requested: None. This is background information for your keynote address at the DIA 25th Anniversary celebration, Friday, 26 September, 6:30 - 10:30 p.m. at the DIA Building, Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C. Phone: 373-4256. 2. Arran ements: You and Mrs. Casey are asked to be at the main entrance of the DIA Building at 7:00 p.m. where you will be met by your host General Leonard "Lenny" Perroots who will escort you to the reception in the main lobby. At approximately 7:45 p.m. you will move to the main dining room for posting of colors, invocation, and dinner which will begin at 8:00 p.m. Your remarks are scheduled for 10:10 p.m., and General Perroots will introduce you. The suggested format is 20 minutes without Questions and Answers. Adjournment will be at approximately TU730 p . m. A podium with microphone and a neck mike will be located near your table. The following persons will be seated with you and Mrs. Casey at an oblong table in the center front of the room: Father O'Conner, Mr. and Mrs. Ken DeGraffenreid, General Leonard Perroots on your left and Mrs. Perroots on your right, The Honorable and Mrs. Morton Abramowitz, and Mr. Donald Latham and his guest Ms. Joan Esladany. (See table seating chart opposite.) Approximately 400 DIA personnel, spouses, and contractors who have close ties with the Intelligence Community will attend. (See opposite for list of senior invited guests.) Neither TV, radio, nor print media will be present. Foreign nationals are not expected to be in the audience.
