Intelligence Producers Council
REFERENCE: DCID (Effective 30 March 1983)
The Intelligence Producers Council
1. With the assignment of Mr. Kerr to be Deputy Director for
Administration, you need to name a new chairman for the Intelligence Producers
Council (IPC). The DCID (copy attached) indicates that "The DDCI will
designate the Chairman of the IPC."
2. The clearest choice is for Mr. Helgerson, the new Associate Deputy
Director for Intelligence, to assume this duty. But you might want to consult
with the SIG(1) and/or IPC principals first.
3. If you approve Mr. Helgerson as the Chairman, wg.will make
arrangements for the announcement of his appointment to the IPC members, and
to other interested parties.
