SUBJECT: Ti Interconnectivity
1. The White House Communications Agency is developing a working group to stream-
line and reduce commercial telephone circuits costs within the Washington, D.C.
area.
2. A reduction of individual circuits between agencies can be effectively imple-
mented by utilizing T1 (1.544 MB/s) trunk circuits between servicing technical
controls/red switches.
3. In order to determine the impact of this effort on your agency, request you
assign a representative to work with our technicians to outline specific problem
areas and concerns. For more information on this project, please contact our
representative, Randall C. Swanson. He can be reached in our Plans Network Branch
at 395-5587.
