Conven- tion Center and will expand in size with over nine acres of the latest high technology exhibits. Please see information on transportation for easy access to the Convention Center. Estimated attendance is over 25,000 from all parts of the world. To avoid delays at the convention registra- tion area, please pre-register by sending in your reg- istration card before May 1, 1986. Please see the sec- tion on pre-registration. The Technical Panels will be held in the Washington Convention Center. All registrants are invited to at- tend these panels without charge. Wade Assistant Secretary for Acquisition & Logistics Department of Defense KEYNOTE LUNCHEON SPEAKER (Invited) Selected to be the 11th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in October 1985, Admiral Crowe graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1947. His further academic achievements include a Master of Arts in Personnel Administration from Stanford Univer- sity and a Ph.D. in Politics from Princeton. Prior to his current assignment, Admiral Crowe was the Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific Command. SUSTAINING MEMBERS' LUNCHEON LTGen. Bernard P. Randolph is Deputy Chief of Staff for Research, Development and Acquisition, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Wash- ington, D.C. He is responsible to the U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff for all U.S. Air Force research, development and acquisition programs. Prior to his current assignment, LTGen. Randolph was Vice Com- mander of Air Force Systems Command, Andrews Air Force Base. LTGen. Randolph has dedicated more than 31 years to active mili- tary service and holds numerous military decorations. INDUSTRIAL LUNCHEON SPEAKER Dr. James P. Wade, Jr., is the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Logistics. Prior to his present position, Dr. Wade served as Assistant Secretary of Defense for Development and Sup- port and Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering. Dr. Wade holds a B.S. in Engineering from the United States Military Academy and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Virginia.
