APR 1986 7 April 1986 rffNIORANDUM FOR : The Record FROM : SUBJECT : RMO/ICS Agreement with SS/0L Regarding Secure Addresses 1111, ^IoII11I1g irepresenting Lne intelll ence ty Staff (ICS) met with of the Office of Logistic's Security Staff (SS/OL). OL maintains an approved address file of contractor addresses with specific instructions for handling classified mail to each contractor facility. The IC Staff has extensive dealings with contractors and the registry must have access to up-to-date information to process outgoing contractor mail. SS/OL will give ICS registry "read only" access to the OL Conif on-line data base. We will use this data base to verify addresses and properly label and mark outgoing mail. The Conif data base is a GIMS based system, similar to our registry COMREG and TRIS data bases. Since we will be "read only" users there will be little or no training required to operate the system; also we will only have to learn two or three standard queries.
