SUBJECT: Cartography Support on Nicaragua
1. Over the past few days your cartography group has been
under a lot of pressure to produce briefing boards and handouts
on very short deadlines for briefings being given to Congress on
Nicaragua. These briefings have involved the DCI, DDCI, NIO for
Latin America, ADDO, and a variety of other DO and DI officers.
2. The Agency is noted for its ability to handle a variety
of requests under short deadlines, and your group in cartography
is no exception. These briefing materials are a great asset to
all of us, and I want you to know that I greatly appreciate the
assistance of all those involved.
