Subject: Your meeting with the Military Advisory
Panel, 1600 Hours, Tuesday 22 July 1986
1. Attached is a schedule of events planned
for the 22-23 July MAP meeting with various NIC
officers (Tab A). (The panel meeting with the DCI
was canceled to resolve a conflict in the
Director's schedule.)
2. When the panel meets with you they will
have been briefed on the production process, a
draft of the 1986-87 estimates schedule, and
specific papers planned by Larry Gershwin. (They
are not aware of recent comments on the production
plan by either you or the DCI.)
3. Also attached for your information are
copies of:
--The revised (present) draft estimates
schedule (Tab B).
--The memo that the MAP prepared following
their meeting with the NIC in late
May (Tab C).
--We are giving you separately the (All
Source) DDI research paper the MAP will
review on 23 July.
