I. Items or Events of Major Interest that have Occurred
During the Preceding Week

* B. Representatives from the Director of Central
Intelligence, Office of Public Affairs viewed the 16mm
motion picture film entitled, CIA and Its People. This
l ~ `production will replace the multi-media 15-projector slide
~~~` show that is currently shown during recruitment efforts.
r -This project was a major motion picture production which
took the Office of Logistics
D' six to seven months to produce. The
Office of Public Affairs representatives were very impressed
with the 16 minute film, which is scheduled to be shown to
the Chief of Public Affairs on 10 March.
C. The Office of Logistics, Printing and Photography
Division (OL/P&PD) was tasked on Friday evening, 28 February
~" J by the Director of Logistics to produce several vugraphs to
(~ be completed by Monday morning, 3 March. The vugraphs,
prepared for a briefing for the Deputy Director for
Administration (DDA), presented costs involved in the office

STAT moves Despite severe equipment failures on
Saturday, the 7o was completed by Sunday and ready for
Monday morning delivery.
* D. Priority work for the Office of Current Production
and Analytic Support (CPAs) has been significant this past
reporting period. The Office of Logistics, Printing and
`Photography Division (OL/P&PD) support included:

1. Photography support for prints and vugraphs of
three charts and a map of Latin America which required a
P&PD representative to be called in at 0130 hours on
Friday, 28 February to have the job ready for pick-up by
0730 that morning.
2. Printing and delivery of 25,000 additional
copies of the English language version of the book
Soviet Acquisition of Militarily Significant Western
Technology: An Update by 10 March. This book, also
known as The White Paper, details the Soviet Union's
effort to acquire Western technology both legally and
illegally for use in its weapons and military equipment
projects.
E. A request was received from the Special Security
Center, Office of Security (SSC/OS) for the Office of
Logistics, Printing and Photography Division (OL/P&PD) to
expedite the printing of 60,000 sets of a 6-part NCR form.
This form will replace two forms presently in use by OS to
clear Agency contractor personnel. Since supplies of the
two forms were running low a part of the order was delivered
to OS on 24 February 1986.
G. Members of the Office of Logistics, Printing and
Photography Division (OL/P&PD) are in the process of
videotaping several locations to be used by the Director of

~~ ~ Conference. This videotape has a due date of 10 March and
