Progress Report on Tasks Assigned by the DCI/DDCI: 2. Items or Events of Major Interest that have Occurred During the Preceding Week: a. The Agency Standard Automated Property System (ASAPS) 25X1 Data Base Administrator went to on Tuesday, 25 February, to visit IMS FSG LOGS. The purpose of the trip was two-fold; the first reason was to conduct an interview with the IMS/FSG Accountable Officer, regarding the Logistics Training Review of the Headquarters Property Accounting Course and second, to view IMS/FSG's Property Accountability System which is currently running on a Wang 25X1 Alliance. b. On Thursday, 27 February, the Agency Standard Automated Property System (ASAPS) Data Base Administrator made a trip to Headquarters for two tutorials on ASAPS. The first visit, to OMS/LOGS, was to train the new person acting as a Logistics Officer in the use of ASAPS, as well as to inform both the Chief of OMS Support and his supervisor about the capabilities of ASAPS. The annual Consolidated Table of Vehicular Allowances (CTVAs) have been sent to responsible components for the yearly 25X1 W - update. i. Action has been taken to correct the problem of the bar coding of Form 240A (Courier Classified Mail Receipt), which 25X1 was received on 1 January 1986, but could not be used by the Mail and Courier Branch. An expedited shipment of 50 boxes was immediately ordered through a local vendor, Wallace Computer Services. Vendor has advised that shipment of these forms was made by UPS on 3 March 1986. On 27 January 1986, Supply Management Branch (SMB), Supply Division, forwarded a request to Procurement Division (PD) to issue a requirements contract for the Prewired Radio System Installation Kits required for the Office of Communication's RECAP program. PD has approved the contract in draft and upon final approval the proposal will be submitted to six local contractors have indicated an interest in providing the kits.
