Progress Reports on Tasks Assigned by the Senior Management: 2. Major Events that Have Qccyrred During the Preceding Week: a. On 26 November, Virginia Power completed work on the 35 KV power feed to the new 15- -switchgear located in the Powerhouse. The switchgear is now energized providing dual power feeds to the new switchgear. new b. On 25 November, splicing began on the 15 KV feeder circuits between the Powerhouse and the existing Original Headquarters Building (OHB). Work on the first high-voltage feeder, 4N, was completed and power from this cirucit to the OHB is now fed from the new switchgear in the Powerhouse. Unfortunately, after the feeder was energized for approximately twelve hours, power was momentarily lost due to incorrect relay settings that were made by the Bid Package 2 contractor. The other five high-voltage feeders serving the OHB will be spliced during the month of December. Ut,.. ,/', &.. vJ r c. General Services Administration (GSA) notified MCI Constructors, Inc. (MCI), the Headquarters Powerhouse upgrade prime contractor, that a schedule for operation, training, and warranties must be provided for the stand-by generator system by 15 December. Failure to comply will cause GSA to terminate all remaining work with MCI.
