1. (S/D) SIGNIFICANCE: A NEW SA-10 LAUNCH SITE IS CONFIRMED IN
THE MOSCOW AREA.
2. (S/D) REMARKS: THE SIXTH SA-10 LAUNCH SITE IN THE MOSCOW AREA
IS IDENTIFIED AT MOSKVA SAM SITE E24-3. THE CONSTRUCTION,
WHTCIH HAS BEEN ONGOING AT THIS FORMER SA-3 LAUNCH SITE SINCE

MOSKVA SAM SITE E24--3- USSR
HAS RESULTED IN A NEW SA-10 LAUNCH SITE
CONFIGURATION. THE TWO LAUNCH REVETMENTS ARE WIDER THAN THOSE
PREVIOUSLY IDENTIFIED AND HAVE BEEN PARTIALLY SEGMENTED BY AN
INTERIOR BERM WALL. PROBABLE HARDPOINTS FOR THE POSITIONING OF
SA-10 LAUNCHERS ARE OBSERVED WITHIN THE REVETMENTS. SIX
IARDPOINTS ARE IN THE SOUTHERN REVETMENT. HEAVY SNOW COVER
PRECLUDES DETERMINATION OF THE PRESENCE OF MORE THAN THREE
HARDPOINTS IN THE NORTHERN REVETMENT. THIS ARRANGEMENT OF
HARDPOINTS INDICATES AT LEAST A NINE-LAUNCHER CONFIGURATION AND
SUGGESTS THE POSSIBILITY OF A 12-LAUNCHER CONFIGURATION.
(S/D) TWO SUPPORT REVETMENTS, POSSIBLY FOR POSITIONING OF A
TRANSPORTABLE ELECTRONICS TOWER OR ASSOCIATED ELECTRONICS, ARE
UNDER CONSTRUCTION. NO SA-10-ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT IS OBSERVED
WITHIN THE LAUNCH SITE OR IN THE SUPPORT AREA. HOWEVER, THE
SA-3 LAUNCH EQUIPMENT, WHICH FORMERLY OCCUPIED THIS LAUNCH
SITE, IS DEPLOYED OUTSIDE THE SOUTHWEST PERIMETER OF MOSKVA ABM
COMPLEX E24 SITE SUPPORT FACILITY, 900 METERS 25X1
NORTHEAST OF THE NEW SA-10 LAUNCH SITE.
(S/D) SIMILARLY CONFIGURED PROBABLE LAYING RE
IDENTIFIED AT KALININGRAD SAM SITE C24-3 ON 25X1
AT THAT TIME, THE KALININGRAD REVETMENTS DID 25X1
NUT HAVE JAL BERM WALLS OR LAUNCHER HARDPOINTS.
