PREPARATION FOR AN OFFENSIVE AGAINST ERITREAN REBELS.
2. (S/D) REMARKS: A PARACHUTE PACKING EXERCISE IS UNDERWAY
ADJACENT-T-0-THE AIRBORNE TRAINING AREA. APPROXIMATELY 35
PARACHUTES ARE ON THE GROUND IN THE PACKING/DRYING AREA. TWO
HUNDRED TROOPS ARE MARCHING IN FORMATION ON THE ATHLETIC FIELD
(NOT ON GRAPHIC).
BISHOFTU IS 22 NM SOUTHEAST OF ADDIS ABABA AND ADJACENT TO
HARAR MEDIA AIRFIELD
