(S/D) SIGNIFICANCE: AN SL-11 LAUNCH FROM TYURATAM MAY BE IMMINENT. 2. (S/D) REMARKS: AN SL-11 SPACE LAUNCH VEHICLE IS ERECTED AND SUPPORTED BY THE IN-PAD ERECTOR ON PAD G1 A AT TYURATAM SPACE LAUNCH TEST SITE G1 A/B. FOUR TRUCKS ARE NEAR THE LAUNCH VEHICLE. PREVIOUSLY, SL-11 LAUNCHES FREQUENTLY HAVE OCCURRED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE LAUNCH VEHICLE BEING SIGHTED ON PAD. PAYLOADS LAUNCHED FROM THIS PAD HAVE INCLUDED ELINT OCEAN RECONNAISSANCE SATELLITES, RADAR OCEAN RECONNAISSANCE SATELLITES, AND INTERCEPTOR SATELLITES. 3.1 (COORDINATES 46-04-49N 062-56-02E COMMENTS AND QUERIES REGARDING THIS BRIEFING BOARD MAY BE DIRECTED TO THE NPIC/PEG OPERATIONS OFFICER.
