The architectural and engineering (A&E) Evaluation Board met on 10 March 1982 to evaluate 35 A&E proposals submitted in response to the project announcement in the 9 February issue of the Commerce Business Daily. The following persons attended the meeting: STAT 2. All Board members with their technical teams had completed for assigned criteria evaluation of the 35 submittals based on the criteria published in the Commerce Business Daily. Results of these evaluations were compiled by the Building Planning Staff. Each Board member reported on his assigned criteria by describing the method of evaluation, and the results were displayed for review by the Board. Following the criteria presentations, the Board Secretary presented a chart showing the rank order of all firms with respect to the total weighted scores and a graph depicting the score groupings. 4. Following general discussion, the Board agreed to the evaluations presented and then focused on the rankings and total weighted scores. Since total weighted scores showed a tight grouping of the top three firms, the Board selected the following top three firms for further consideration: CRS/Sirrine, Joint Venture Smith, Hinchman & Grylls Associates, Inc. The Association of VVKR, Inc./Dewberry & Davis/ Everett I. Brown 5. It was determined that all communication with A&E firms concerning the evaluation will be conducted through Chief, Production & Services Contracts Branch, Procurement Division. Any requested debriefing will be attended by and a representative of the Building Planning 6. Board members were requested to submit suggested revisions for the project questionnaire and final evaluation criteria to the Building Planning Staff within one week.
