1. The monthly Transition Working Group (TWG) meeting was held in Room 3D41
on 28 January 1986, beginning at 0900 hours. The attendance
list, presented charts (including the agenda) and assigned Action Items
are included as Attachments A, B and C respectively.
2. These minutes have been organized to follow the meeting agenda. Presented
charts are included as Attachment B, using the circled page numbers in the
lower right hand corner for reference in following discussions. The major
topics of the meeting were:

A. Action Item Review: Chart 1) covered the STAT
outstanding Action Items that were originated at previous TWG
meetings. Action Item C02-292 remains open with a 1 22/86 u ,date that STAT
changed the responsible person to indicate and the
cognizant persons as
B. NBCS Planning Schedule: Chart 2-3) ~ reviewed the
overall Schedule noting that the I C Segment CDR has been postponed.
He also referred to other significant schedule events that are STAT
upcoming such as the SRR for the B/B-C/C Segments and the PDR for the
R/S Segment.
C. Facilities Overview and Status: reported
that the Non-Secure Telephone Operations Relocation requirement is in
the hands of the construction contractor. Target date for completion STAT
is 24 FEB 86. reported that the OK to use= power in the
GJ26 corridor has been received. The government is working the
issue. The necessary conduit will be installed and close coordination STAT

noted that the Secure Systems drawing was released for GD55-59 area
and a contractor has already been selected. No schedule developed to
date. A FRD document (in draft) has been released internally in BPO.
The review will take approximately 2 weeks (15 FEB 86). The document
will then be forwarded to other interested parties for review.

I. Upcoming Activities and Future Meetings Charts 5-16)
previewed a upcoming activities that included the TWG meeting
schedule for 1986 and Segment activities through the next TWG in
February. A preliminary Agenda for the February TWG indicates that
is scheduled to present the Secure System Transition Plan.
J. Action Item Review and Wrap-up. No Action items were
assigned at this meet ing. highlighted the activities and events
that had taken place at this TWG.
