Reference Is made to your letter of May 26 which included a revised project schedule and
May 29 regarding the supplemental work that has been performed in connection with the
CIA Traffic Advisory Committee meetings.
The revised project schedule appears realistic, however, the mid-August completion date
hinges on the utility field Inspection plans and the success of the CIA In scheduling and
holdi the remaining two TAC meetings. I am forwarding a copy of this schedule to Mr.
for his Information. The utility information being secured by So-Deep will be
orwar to you as soon as it is received.
Your letter outlines the supplemental design work that has been performed to resolve
Issues raised at the TAC meetings. Hopefully no further studies will be requirea and the
project con be completed within the existing budget.

Respectfully submitted is our Progress Report describing professional engineering services
provided the Department on the referenced Project during April. Accompanying this
narrative is a revised Project Schedule and a numerical representation of the status of
the various work tasks comprising the assignment.
Field Surveys and Mapping
Tasks previously completed.
Preliminary Layout
A second Technical Advisory Committee Meeting to discuss the three alternative designs
was held April 14th. Subsequently, we were advised to complete the Field Inspection
Plans based upon the recommended design reviewed at the April meeting.
Field Inspection Plans
Services provided in April consisted of development of the preliminary maintenance
of traffic plan, completion of the traffic control plans for incorporation into the Field
Inspection set, and effort on development of the Field Inspection Plans. Field Inspection
submittal was scheduled for May 19th with the date for the field inspection itself set
for June 5th.
Public Participation Program
As noted, a second meeting of the CIA's Traffic Advisory Committee was held in April.
At that time, three alternative designs for the Route 193/Route 123 intersection were
discussed.

Concluding Statement
May 28, 1986
Good progress was made the latter part of April on Field Inspection Plans for the Project.
Field Inspection has been scheduled for June 5th with plan delivery to occur late in May.
Our proposed Schedule for completing this design assignment is attached to this Report.
