Dear Mr. Dinger:
On behalf of our staff and students involved in the Agency's
first Seminar on Science and Technology Forecasting, I would like
to express our appreciation to the .Foreign Science & Technology
Center for supplying two expert speakers. Messrs. Stering and
Kane both made fine presentations on FSTC's activities in S&T
forecasting. The Seminar's success was due in-large to the
cooperation we've received from organizations like FSTC.
A senior staff member of the seminar commented that their
briefings were among the most relevant parts of the Seminar.
The Seminar participants rated both speakers highly in
course critiques.
We appreciate FSTC's willingness to support the Agency's
training programs and I hope we can continue to call upon your
analysts for their expertise.
