Mr. Edward J. O'Malley
Assistant Director
Intelligence Division
Federal Bureau of Investigation
Washington D.C. 20535
Dear Mr. O'Malley:
Our office has developed an intensive five-week program for
career trainees--new professional officers with high potential--
from the Agency's Directorate of Science and Technology. As a
conclusion to the portion of the program devoted to security, we
would like to have the FBI present a segment which would consist
of what has been learned from the study of cases such as
Kampiles, Boyce and Lee, the Walkers, and others. It should also
include a discussion of how what has been learned can be used to
improve security in the future. of our office has
discussed this with Jay Alhuyser, FBI Liaison Officer, in
some detail.
The presentation described would be scheduled for 1 August 1985,
from 1400 - 1630, in Room 912 of the Chamber of Commerce Building.
The Bureau's participation would be greatly appreciated. Details
may be coordinated with the course directors, and
Sincerely,
Director
of
Training and Education
