SUBJECT: Executive Leadership Forum
1. I want to express my appreciation for the important
contribution your office made to the first three runnings of the
Executive Leadership Forum.
2. During the course of the week, a number of topics are
discussed, such as executive leadership, derailment, and lessons
learned. It is important that this information be applied to
live Agency situations in order that the participants appreciate
its relevancy.
3. To that end, participants form self-management work
teams which address a current, Agency-wide problem as a final
exercise. The problem selected for the exercise was that of
generating an Agency-wide policy on implementing personal security
guidelines. The background was presented by
Deputy Director for Personnel Security & Investigations, who d d an
outstanding job. Please convey our gratitude for the time and
effort he devoted to this endeavor. The students' proposed
regulation changes and action plans will be forwarded to your
office.
