We were privileged in the initial running of our program on
Soviet Science and Technology to have briefings by three members
of your office, Maurice Roesch III, Deborah Wince, Jack Wood,
and the Agency representative, They addressed
key issues in the making of science and technology policy, with
particular attention to those issues emanating from U.S.-Soviet
relations. The speakers actively engaged the class in citing
areas for intelligence input in the development of a science
policy towards the Soviet Union.
