Effective 1200, Friday, 18 April 1986, Robert M. Gates will assume
full powers and authorities which accrue to the position of DDCI. As of
that time and date, the special arrangements regarding the handling of
correspondence absent the DDCI--and the temporary delegation of limited
powers to the Executive Director to act for the DDCI--as spelled out in
referenced memos, are rescinded.
