SUBJECT: Concurrence in Amendment No. 10 to Contract No. FL-3011 with
Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Baltimore, Maryland,
EQUINE, Projects CHALICE, and Air Force
1. This memorandum contains a recommendation submitted for
approval of the Special Assistant to the Director for Planning and
Development. Such recommendation is set forth in Paragraph 5.
2. Contract No, FL-3011 covered the furnishing of APQ-56
Radar equipment for Projects CHALICE, and the Air Force.
The Contract also covered field maintenance for Project CHALICE.
This contract was subject to price redetermination. Amendment No. 8
established the final price for Items 1 through 9A less Item 7. This
Amendment No. 10 establishes the final price for the balance of the
items. Details of the negotiations are shown in the attached
memorandums.

final cost of $79,192.00 for field maintenance and related travel.
By concurrence to this memorandum the Comptroller signifies that funds
have been adjusted as noted above.
4. Certification of funds for this contract will be handled
under the procedurQ annroyed by the Director of Central Intelligence on

be periodically scheduled for certification of the vouchers by the
Director. This procedure eliminates the necessity for a separate
certification of authority under Section 10(b) of Public Law 110,
81st Congress, for each contract.
5. Approval of Amendment No. 10 to Contract No. FL-3011 and
execution thereof on behalf of the Agency by the authorized
Contracting Officer is recommended.
