25X1A 1. This is Commander's Report on Mission No. 1028, pilot
2, mission was excellently performed. He
discovered and corrected for deviation along his celestial leg,
an indication of mature understanding of the sextant. He further
has consistent and good celestial results.
2. Mission Planning: Excellent. Materials were accurate and
sufficient for the mission. Briefing was superior.
3. Pilot Performance: Very good, especially in use of celestial
equipment. Needs additional experience in dead reckoning ahead of
aircraft when weather is immenent.
4. Weather: As briefed except from Spokane area to Pocatello
which varied from broken to overcast as compared to briefed clear
condition.

5. 100% operational for the mission.
6. Electronics: 100% operational for the mission.
7. Aircraft and Equipment Troubles: Auto pilot sensitivity
was readjusted.
8, Personal Equipment: Satisfactory.
