25X1A SUBJECT j SPECIFIC - Mission 1106 25X1A
Mission 1106 was flown by on 30 August 1956 in - 163. 25X1A
Special equipment consisted of _ and ~6. Duration of the 25X1A
flight was eight hours. Take-off was made as scheduled.
No other problems were encountered in launching the mission,
reported satisfactory operation of t e camera equipment and no mall unc ons

were evident upon landing at The R-6, V-7 and L-8 cameras
25X1A exposed 1125 frames, 1800 feet of The -exposed 800 feet
25X1A of All camera a ui ent operated satisfactory. R-6 data chamber
counter stopped at 199. data clock had not operated during whole 25X1A
25X1A mission, contact not sec clips from R-6, V-7 and
25X1A L-8 showed good results but frost effected slight defect but not enough to
spoil mission. results were excellent.

reported excessive canopy and windshield frosting on this
miss on as we as on the view finder. Unusally high cockpit heat was 25X1A
used in an effort to eliminate windshield frost which resulted in
becoming nauseated and was reduced to comfortable level without succ s
in removing frost. Frost remained during entire flight after passing an
altitude of 40 angles which made navigation difficult.
South of course 11 nm on turn south of Matan, returning to course
at tip of Gulf of Aquaba. On course remainder of flight until 3818N
1952E when deviated to fly along western coast of Balkans. Return
at which time it became overcast. No clack on
No problems were encountered in the briefing or de-briefing of any 25X1A
of the four missions.
