Further observation of Campo Libertad Airfield (23-05N 82-2'TW)
reveals 52 pieces of field artillery (probably 76 mm), 24 possible field
artillery pieces, two 3-gun antiaircraft (machine gun) positions, and
two 3-gun .antiaircraft (machine gun) positions probably, under constrruction>
The 52 pieces of field artillery are arranged in eight groups of six
guns each and one group of four guns . The eight groups.. of six guns each
are located on the infield north of the E/W runway. The group of four
guns is immediately adjacent to the south .side of the E/W runway.
The 24 possible field artillery pieces are located on the north side
of the NE/SW runway.
The two 3-gun antiaircraft positions, probably occupied, are
located along the runway. One position is located at the extrerne
west end of the- r u ay, and the other position is on the north side of the
runway near the servicing. apron..
Of the two 3-gun antiaircraft positions which are probably uncles.
construction, one is located at the extreme southwest end of the NE./SW
runway, anal the other is l.acated in the .infield north of the E/W .runway.
