a Corona laboratory be used on a non-

interference basis.
I told him that I felt it would be entirely
in order, as we used other Government equipment on a non-interference
basis and that I would obtain approval for this use. As far as the
security aspect is concerned, the engineering people will be in
the 128 plant, but will have no connection with the Corona laboratory
area. The only testing that is being planned at the 128 plant
is that of components only and the Corona cleared people will do the
testing on a non-interference basis with the Corona project having
priority.
It is intended that ITEK will draw up a security plan and forward
it to 12JSD for approval, at which time it will be submitted to Mr.
before anything is done in this area. Will you please
let me know if you have any objection to this no interference use
of the Corona test equipment.
I am sending a copy of this letter to so that he may
be aware of the security aspects.
