SUBJECT: "Red Flag" Critical Items
1. Transmitted herewith is a list depicting the
spares and components that have been identified as those
that are critical to support the OXCART fleet. These
items pose immediate supply problems with extension of
the program beyond the earlier SCOPE COTTON precepts.
2. Attachment I is representative of the items
involved, their unit cost and applications among the A-12,
YF-12A and SR-71 models. Actions are currently underway
at the Project Depot to establish quantities
required for each.line item.
