MEHDRANDUM FOR: Director of Central Intelligence
SUBJECT : Permission for Wives to Attend Award
Ceremony at Headquarters
1. This memorandum contains a recommendation for the
approval of the Director of Central Intelligence. Such
recommendation is contained in paragraph 3.
2. You will recall that the six OXCART pilots and the
Commander and Deputy Commander have been approved
for the *warding of Agency valor and merit awards.
3. The purpose of this memorandum is to request your
permission to sponsor an invitation to the wives to ac-
company the pilots and officers to be honored at the Award
Ceremony.
4. With your concurrence we are tentatively planning
for the ceremony to be held in Headquarters, at a con-
venient date between 24 June and 2 July 1968.
