2. I Isaid he wanted to ascertain the status of OXCART deactivation
and w.hat funds would be required to prepare the aircraft and the storage facility
for the deactivation. 1 la message from Mr. Kelly
,! ohnson of Loc,kheed statlng the 1'lrst two alrcra1't, numbers 122 and 134 which are
to be stored in late August, can be handled in the small hanger at Palmdale (Buil-
ding 211). Mr. Johnson stated that partitioning and sprinkler system would have
to be done at a cost of about r---l Ihe remaining aircraft will be stored in the
:nain hanger at Palmdale and th~will be needed to make it ready for the first
n.JO ( in September). These are to be all-inclusive costs on a one-time basis. Col.

3. A short discussion of the U2, U2R programs followed. The first R is t.o
(; ,~ec;t flown on the 28th of this month. I I stated that two of the 25X1
PC1'ldr;-Elmer cameras for the U2G' s were in need of overhaul. This runs I ~er 25X1
:.'i.unera and had not been included in vbe IT 68 ~RO Budget. OSA ,feels there is no
soft area where this amount of money can be reappropriated and they may have to
25X1 ask for added funds. I I stated they will try to get the money for OSA if
