CIPC Meeting: At its monthly meetin on 18 November, the CIPC approved the narcotics collection strategy report for In addition, the Committee reviewed and discussed a number of critical intelligence problems that were identified by the CIPC principals. 2. Narcotics Intelligence: The report documenting a narcotics collection strategy for was approved by the CIPC members without reservation. Critical Intelligence Problems: As noted earlier, at its 18 November meeting, the Committee addressed a number of topics that had been identified by the CIPC members as critical intelligence problems. As a result of this discussion, the Committee identified seven topics that warranted CIPC consideration, pending DCI approval. The seven candidate topics have been forwarded to the DCI. 5. Soviet Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD): In last month's report, we noted that the DCI had approved the CIPC's Follow-up Report on Soviet Ballistic Missile Defense.
