5. Soviet Mobile Missile Study: Final Intelligence Community
coordination of the Mobile Missile Study has been completed. The study was
forwarded to the DCI on 4 October for his review with the recommendation that
the study be tabled at a future NFIC meetin for its review and-approval
to DCI promulgation.
7. Critical Intelligence Needs: The CIPC staff is researching the topics
identified by the CIPC members as potential critical intelligence problems.
The staff is preparing a brief discussion paper on each recommended topic that
will define the problem, document work that has already been done or is being
done on the subject, and outline the scope of a possible study. These staff
papers will be provided to the committee members for discussion at the
November CIPC meeting.
