CIPC Organizational Activities
? The third draft of the Cruise Missile Report has been completed. We are
presently in the process of reviewing it and should be able to provide you
our reaction in a day or so.
? Drafting continues on the Combat Intelligence Analysis Report examining
the issues surfaced by General Faurer.
? Bob, Ray, Jim, and George met with Charlie Allen on 29 January and
reviewed the terrorism and narcotics activities under way within the
Intelligence Community.
? Personnel:
- Carol reports to her new assignment on 31 January.
- Other items to be discussed.
Narcotics Activities:
is George attended the NIO/Narcotics Monthly Warning and Forecast meeting on
24 January.
? As reported earlier, we will initiate development of the final Narcotics
Report for the DCI in mid-February.
? We have begun reformatting the Counterterrorism Working Group's report to
Terrorism Activities:
bring it more in line with established CIPC format. No substantive
chase are being made. As you know, our working group chairman, Bob
has rather firm ideas about how the study should be organized and
presented.

Subcommittee, to review and iscuss a activities of the subcommittee.

? On 28 January, received the DCI approved concept paper and
Terms of Reference for the emorandum to Holders of the Korean Warning
NIE. A Corxnunity representatives' meeting is scheduled for 1 February.
As the primary drafter, Paul will be attending that meeting.
