1. The one hundred and twenty-third meeting of the Computer
Security Subcommittee was held at 0930 hours on 24 May 1979 in
the NSA Building, Ft. Meade, Maryland. In attendance were:

2. The minutes of 26 April 1979 vote of approval was postponed
until the June meeting.
3. The Chairman informed the membership that the Security
Committee is currently considering a re-write of DCID 1/11 to
include the annex on computer security. The draft DCID 1/11
annex regarding computer security contains the amendment
"communicated'. The Chairman advised that the Subcommittee will
suspend further action regarding its initiative on amending the
Subcommittee Charter and await action by the Security Committee.
This is necessary in order to avoid duplication of effort and
confusion with respect to the rewrite of DCID 1/11. All members
were advised to consult with their Security Committee members as
to the events that have occurred in the Subcommittee regarding
the charter amendment.

attachments.
