WEEKLY REPORT

1. During this reporting period, members of the
Administrative Support and Training Branch (AS&TB) presented
five briefings to 55 students on computer awareness issues.
Classes included WANG AL1?, Fundamentals of VM, GIMS Users,
Fundamentals of Personal Computers, and Special Police Officers
Course (SPO).
31. An ISSD representative briefed the Special Security
/Center and Office of Information Technology's Database Systems
Division on the current status of the Sensitivity Data Labeling
Model Project. Areas briefed include the Data Labeling Model,
requirements, and current status of the project.
4. A member of Agency and Community Systems Branch (A&CSB)
along with members of Analysis Division, attended a Security

the operational aspects, system architecture, and system
security. Further discussions are needed between Analysis
Division, ISSD, and STAC in order to clarify and resolve
pertinent security issues.
6. On 14-18 December, a member of ISB attended the
Construction Security Course sponsored by SES and
OS/PTS/PASG/PSD/CSB.
7. On 18 December a member of ISSD briefed the first
running of the Construction Security Class at ITC on computer
security issues as they related to project CRAFT. The briefing
contained historical threat information, and a brief summary
handout on security requirements for overseas AIS systems.
9. A meeting was held on 21 December with OC/CSD and
OC/FND to distribute the January 1988 Overseas AIS security
requirements paper. All responses from DO/IMS and the Office
of Communications should be received by the 15th of January.
