This letter will update you on our plans to use $30,000 from the
construction funds for our :i I ew ifeadduarters Building to commission
and install a statue is Honor of Jei1eral V'illiam Donovan, the
founder of the OSS and one of the leading figures in the history of
JS intelligence.
Follotiiiig a competition along several sculptors, the A;eacy's
Fine Arts Commission Sias accepted a Did from Larry Ludtke of
riouston, Texas, to design, complete, and install a statue or Jenerai
Donovan on Agency grounds. The funds involved represent a small
portion of those availaule under - 'SA regulations to cover art and
decoration within a project construction fu,ids. -;e expect installa-
tion to oe completed in late 1J33.
