SUBJECT: HAC S&I Team Report
1. I briefed the DDs on what we were told, or better, learned from the
HAC S&I team. I believe we all have somewhat different views than the S&I
team, but much that they said was valid critique. In order to get ourselves
in a somewhat better position with respect to real estate, please have your
people prepare--if it doesn't exist already--a notebook with a separate page
providing basic data about each piece of real estate we utilize. I would like
this to be a document which could be handed to Judge Webster if required.
2. I suggest it start with a page dealing with this compound. It should
probably state that there are x number of building on this compound (original
Headquarters building, new Headquarters building, printing plant, etc.).
Where acreage is involved, it should be clear that there are so many acres
here. It should state the gross square footage of the various buildings as
well as the useable square footage of each building. Other pertinent facts
should be included.
3. On the first page of the notebook--which probably should be
loose-leaf--ought to be a summary of the buildings and a statement as to total
square footage and total useable square footage.
4. I recognize that some pages in this notebook would deal with very
25X1 small installations such as the one Nevertheless, I believe
that we must get a clear sense of data that we all speak from when we discuss
this topic. My aim is to make this document the bible on this topic:
