Dear Mr. Donnelly:
On November 20, 1986, I informed you of the issuance of
the Standard Form (SF) 189-A, "Classified Information
Nondisclosure Agreement (Industrial/Commercial/Non-
Government)" by the Information Security Oversight Office
(IS00). 'SOO developed this form as an alternative
nondisclosure agreement which Government contractor,
licensee, and grantee employees, or other non-Government
personnel may sign as an alternative to the existing SF 189,
"Classified Information Nondisclosure Agreement." Since its
issuance, the Defense Investigative Service (DIS) has
informed us of its intention to administer the sign up
program for the SF 189-A for all contractor, licensee and
grantee employees or other non-Government personnel who are
part of the Defense Industrial Security Program (DISP). If
your agency is a participant in that program, you should
contact Andrea Wraalstad, DIS Headquarters, at 202-475-0902
(commercial) or 335-0902 (autovon), with any questions
concerning the implementation of the SF 189-A.
