ACTION: Notice of amended system of records subject to the
Privacy Act
SUMMARY: The Central Intelligence Agency is amending one system of
records in its inventory of systems of records subject to the
Privacy Act as amended (5 U.S.C. ~552a).
EFFECTIVE DATES: The proposed action will be effective without
further notice on or before 30 days after publication of this notice
in the Federal Register, unless comments are received which would
result in a contrary determination.

CATEGORIES OF RECORDS IN THE SYSTEM:
In line 2, after the words: "... background investigation," add
the following words: "status of clearance". This section will now
read as follows: "Name, date of birth, social security number, date
of background investigation, status of clearance, organization, and
clearances held."
Delete this entire section and replace with the following:
"Records are retained and destroyed in accordance with records
control schedules approved by the Archivist of the United States."
