MEMORANDUM FOR: Director of Logistics
FROM: William F. Donnelly
Deputy Director for Administration
SUBJECT: Meeting with General William I. Rolya, U.S. Army (Ret)
President, Delta Data Systems Corporation
1. I met for one-half hour on this date with the President of Delta Data
Systems Corporation, retired General William I. Rolya. He stopped by to
convey the message that Delta Data has been cleaned up--several senior
officers fired, the cost accounting system improved, etc.--and now he would
like to arrange to be removed from PN-85.
2. I told him that I had received a report about his company yesterday
which indicated that the tone and atmosphere, as well as the accounting
procedures, had improved and that if he believed their condition was such that
they deserved to be removed from PN-85 status, he should direct a letter to
our Director of Logistics, John Ray. I was certain Mr. Ray would look into
the matter. I said that in his letter he should indicate the steps taken
within the company in the past year to improve in the areas previously
discussed. I was sure that the Director of Logistics would weigh these
carefully.
5. When you receive the letter from Delta Data, I would like to see a
copy; however, do whatever is required. It's your call.
