You might look it over this evening so we can discuss it in the morning. 2. A few specific comments: STAT STAT STAT STAT STAT On Attachment A, you will a with the final shakeout that out Ia total corn lement of in OLC and OPA, we have reduced by positions~~f FYI, again on Attachment A, the 0/DDCI,'iguA is so high because / it includes DCI Security and the Executive Secretariat. Finally, on Attachment A, of the overall cuts in the ./ DCI area, 3 of these positions are already committed to go back to NFAC. Except for general interest, you need not pay attention to the final two pages in Attachment A. I am told that this is the kind of listing Personnel would need to actually transfer positions. With respect to Attachment B, I am not sure for cosmetic purposes whether Billy should be listed as the Deputy Director of Policy and Planning. I certainly intend to treat him as such and he certainly is by virtue of rank, but I am inclined to think we should carry him as Chief, External Affairs Staff instead. He of outsiders having access to their family jewels. would thus be de facto Deputy Director but might avoid misper- ceptions and a little unease inside, where people are suspicio to proceed. This would give Policy and Planning an overall T/O of out with Gordy and, assuming no serious problem, tell Legislative Liaison Branch.
