1. Action Re uested: You sign the attached memorandum
recommending that NSDM
2. Background: The NSC staff has asked the Agency (DDO,
DDI, and DDS&T) alon with State and the Department of Defense,
to reve,~w NSDM On 15 July 1977 the DDI
reviewed NSDM among others and recommended that it be
rescinded; the NSC has no record that any follow up action was
taken and consequently it remains on the active list.
3. Staff Position: This NSDM has been overtaken b events
and should be rescinded. Arrangements have been made
regarding the subjects at issue.
