SUBJECT: Memorandum of Appreciation
1. As I prepare to leave the Pentagon, I wish to thank you for the
support that you have given me as Chairman of the Council. Your help has been
absolutely essential in the production of the various technical assessments
the Council has provided the Director and Deputy Director of Central
Intelligence for consideration in the National Foreign Intelligence Program.
I believe that the strength of the Council comes from your participation in
its affairs, and your involvement and advice have been much valued.
2. Again, my personal thanks for your assistance in the continued
operation of the Intelligence Research and Development Council.
