1987 AI Symposium Funding
I request your approval to release to ORD the FY 1987 budgeted amount of
of ICS funds which are targeted for use in funding the yearly Community 25X1
Artificial Intelligence Symposium. This year's symposium will be held 25-27 March
at DIA. Our agent for these symposia is ORD (Phil Eckman, Director of OR f)_ is the
Chairman of the Community Al Steering Group that serves under the IR&DC). 25X1

contract cost. is is a same manner in which a symposia nave een run e
during the last five years. Over 600 people will attend; the symposium will
feature both classified and unclassified sessions, a vendor show, and special
interest groups.
