SUBJECT: Weekly Report
6. A second draft of the National Security Decision
Directive that will replace PD/NSC-24 (the National Telecommuni-
cations Protection Policy) has been received. Whereas the first
draft encompassed computer security and NSA authorities in that
discipline (one of the features which the DDCI found objection-
able) this most recent draft does not. A critique of the
draft has been prepared for the DDCI's Executive Assistant.
