SUBJECT: Weekly Report
6. We borrowed two KY-71 secure telephone units from the
Department of Transportation on a temporary basis to keep up with
ever-increasing secure voice requirements.
7. The final pre-installation survey for the NFIB Wang/
Dataphone project was conducted on 8 March 1983. A schedule will
now be coordinated with all 11 NFIB sites to introduce the Wang
customer representative who will have responsibility for equipment
installation and support.
9. OC and DO/IMS officers met to disduss the contractor's
(SIMPACT) proposal for the developthent of a system to interface
25X1 CRAFT with the communications network. The IMS represen-
tatives agreed to use CRAFT funds for this requirement.
10. In an effort to deal with increasingly critical techni-
cian and operator shortages, we have sent OC staff members on
25X1 recruiting trips with
recruiters and will soon De issuing a special Agency-wide printed
vacancy notice to attract internal applicants.
