Weekly Report
2. Twelve DI components have eliminated requirements for
hard copy messages as a result of the SAFE program since
1 January. Of these, four had been receiving approximately
12,250 messages a month via OC's Automatic Printing and
Reproduction System which amounts to a savings of 15,000 sheets
of paper printed on both sides per month.
3. On 8 March, the D/CO and Chief, Management and Liaison
Staff briefed Mr. Ed Levine of the Senate Select Committee for
Intelligence on the progress of OC's Capitalization effort.
4. On 12 March, Chief, Management and Liaison Staff
provided Dr. Thomas P. Quinn, Assistant Deputy Under Secretary
(C3)/DUSD(C3I) and Dr. Arthur Bertapelle, Director, Strategic
and Theater Nuclear Forces, C3, with an overview briefing of
the Office of Communications.
