Arrangements were made for 14 officers from OC to attend the OIT sponsored Data Processing/Communications Operational Planning Conference at 17-21 November 1986. Additionally, seven officers from OC-ED have been tasked to make presentations on specific agenda topics during the course of the conference. 2. Satellites: b. A meeting was held on 14 November 1986 between personnel from the Office of Communications (OC), the Office of Development and Engineering (OD&E), the Office of Technical Support (OTS), and the Director of Operations' Policy and Coordination Staff (DO/PCS) to discuss a recently completed CovCom communications improvement study. OC support requirements were factored into the study where applicable. It was agreed that the next phase of the study will be to review tactical communications requirements.
