SUBJECT: Weekly Staff Notes, 21-27 September 1986
a. The agenda and arrangements have been finalized for
the joint Office of Communications and Office of Information
Technology Planning Conference scheduled for 8-10 October at-
b. Members of the Office of Communications, Management
and Plans Staff, attended the Office of Security
presentation of Computer Security Awareness at the 25X1
Headquarters Auditorium. The Deputy Director for
Administration, Mr. William F. Donnelly, was the guest
speaker.
c. On 24 September, addressed
senior Office of Communications (OC) managers participating
in the Area Chiefs' Conference. The primary thrust of this
presentation involved the re-validation of FY-1986-91
Strategic Plan Business Areas and corresponding objectives,
and a general overview of past accomplishments regarding
established initiatives. Because of time constraints, it
was decided that the Management and Plans Staff, OC, would
forward to Area and Division Chiefs, via telepouch, a rather
lengthy report which consolidates Office efforts to date in
fulfilling Strategic Plan objectives and initiatives.
Accordingly, Component Chiefs will be asked to confirm the
accuracy of the report and provide candid comments and/or
suggestions regarding any element of the Plan.
Additionally, Area Chiefs will be requested to outline their
