These actions are presently underway. 3. Liaison Activities: a. On 5 August, attended the quarterly Nationwide Emergency Telecommunications Service (NETS) Industry Conference held at the MITRE Corporation in McLean, Virginia. Under contract with the government, American Telephone and Telegraph (AT&T) has prepared draft specifications for the NETS system and its major elements which will be used in subsequent acquisition of NETS services. Both government and industry have received these draft specification documents.
