Joseph Kraft ["The Blame Falls on
~~Y,~~ op-ed, Oct. 28] quoted a re-
mark supposedly made by a former
Republican secretary of state which
was highly defamatory about William
Casey, head of the CIA, If such a
statement were in fact ever made, the
source should be promptly identified. .
I have known Mr. Casey for many
Years, both professionally and socially.
No one who has been associated with
Bill Casey would ever have the slight-
est question about his integrity.
